The E-reading Teacher has been a comforting “normal” for Ainsley and our family during these unprecedented times. Ainsley has gained complete confidence with chapter books moving into 2nd grade. Prior to starting with the e-reading teacher, she liked reading, but didn’t have a connection with the books. Now, she reminds me to read together each night, is reading with expression, and is able to make organic connections between her life and the story and characters. Our e-reading teacher has been a breath of fresh air. She works with our schedule, gives detailed reports on how I can support my child, and I never doubt that all of her instruction is of the highest quality and aligned with state and national standards. The best part about all of it…I don’t have to drive Ainsley anywhere. She can sit in the comfort of our home and complete her sessions.
Overwhelmed by the thought of my son starting Kindergarten in a distance learning program in the Fall, I knew I wanted to try to get a jump start on learning over the summer. I am so grateful we found the E-Reading Teacher Program. Within our first week, my son was reading 3 word sentences. Two months later, he is reading books with over 50 words in it. The class is personalized based on your child’s needs. To help build a better reading foundation, our teacher is also working on letter recognition and letter sounds. Working with our E-Reading teacher, my son has become a confident and curious reader and I have learned tools to help develop his reading skills. We plan on continuing with this program when school starts in the Fall.
I cannot recommend The E-Reading Teacher enough. My son started during the summer because I was afraid he would be behind when school started. His teacher is absolutely amazing and we love her! I can really tell a difference in just the few sessions we have had. I can’t say enough great things about the communication I receive from the team and I feel they genuinely care.
